International Travel Health Insurance
This chart will give you an idea of the differences between the plans available. The Atlas, Patriot, and Liaison plans, which are medical plans offered by different companies, can be purchased in conjunction with or separately from the Round Trip (trip insurance), and Liaison Traveler (AD&D life insurance/evacuation plan). It's just a matter of what your concern is (i.e. covering the cost of medical care, trip cancellation, or life insurance). If you have multiple concerns that aren't satisfied by any one policy, then purchase multiple ones. It is very common to purchase one of the first three, which can be shopped by price if you have no other preference, and the Traveler plan for additional accidental death coverage and/or the Round Trip plan to cover the cost of the trip.
Remember the policies we offer will cost you the same regardless of where you make your purchase. Some companies may offer only one of these carriers because they get paid more to have an exclusive arrangement. We decided to give the best deal to our clients instead of keeping it for ourselves. Since the price is the same, if you find our site useful, we'd appreciate your business.
If you are going on a trip for an unknown amount of time, but you know it'll last less than three years, we'd recommend using the Liaison policy. If you make an online purchase, we'll send you a renewal notice at the end of the period you initially purchase. You can continue to renew up to 36 months. If it's possible you'll need international coverage for more than three years, look at our international health insurance policies.
