Health Insurance

Health insurance is probably the most sought after voluntary insurance. This is because no health insurance premium is as expensive as not having insurance when you need it.

An injury or illness could cost thousands of dollars or more.

The #1 place to get information and apply for insurance just made it easier for you. Just follow the link below to get quotes, search networks, and compare health plans side by side from many of the carriers shown here. The following carriers aren't currently quoted in the enigne though, but their rates are still available online by downloading PDF brochures, applications and rates below: Kaiser Health Insurance, CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Aetna Health Insurance. If you need help or guidance our phone number is always listed above. And, since we know you can't get a better deal anywhere (the prices are regulated, every site and broker will have the same rate for the identical plan), there's never any pressure -- just answers.

There are sites that are "larger" in that their budget for advertising is much larger than ours; however, the rate that they offer is identical to ours. So unlike the Amazons being able to out compete the little book store, we can actually beat our competitor with service since nobody can adjust the cost of the plans.

We get calls all the time from individuals asking for "group" insurance. Our response is "why do you want to pay more for insurance?" That's right, group insurance is more expensive if you're healthy. People don't realize this because sometimes an employer is picking up some or most of the bill. Also people with pre-existing conditions are usually covered without question making the coverage more costly to pay for those extra medical bills. If an agent tells you that he/she is going to get you into a "group" plan, just tell them "no thanks, I'd rather save my money." And, if they need to set up an appointment to come see you.....hide (you don't need these high pressure tactics, you just need a good health plan).

Also, do not enter your information on any site that doesn't list a street address in the "contact" section. And be very leary on any site that doesn't provide information. These sites just gather your personal information and sell it to agents. Before you know it you have a half dozen insurance agents calling your house all trying to sell you the same plan at the same rate.

We are licensed to sell most of the plans you may find on other web sites, but you’ll be comfortable knowing that we only sell plans that we would consider buying ourselves. If the company doesn’t treat our customers properly, they don’t deserve your or our business. If you know of a plan we don’t have here, please call us and we’ll tell you what we know – remember we can probably sell that plan too. We do have some "2nd Tier" plans that we don't have on the site because they don't sell well. We'll quote those for you when we talk. We don’t have health plans from New York up through the New England states.

If you’re not sure how to proceed please contact our office by phone or Quote/Info Request.

All of these plans are medically underwritten, so not everyone will qualify for the coverage. If you have pre-existing conditions or need guidance please contact us.

If you need rates for group coverage please contact our office as well.

* In Maryland CareFirst includes maternity coverage. In DC and Virginia CareFirst offers maternity as an option. In most other states we recommend the Fortis plans if maternity is needed. If you are already pregnant the plans will NOT cover your pregnancy. You generally need to have the plan in force for a certain period of time before the insurance company will pay (assuming maternity is covered). Please read and understand your plan.

Maryland Health Insurance Plans are offered in addition to Illinois Health Insurance, Indiana Health Insurance, Virginia Health Insurance, DC Health Insurance, Texas Health Insurance, Ohio Health Insurance, PA Pennsylvania Health Insurance, Georgia Health Insurance and more!
